It can be confusing commissioning your first online event with different providers all offering different products and services. The issue is everyone uses different terminology often meaning the same thing. At StreamGo we make things simple, so here’s a guide to our products and services:

Webinars

A webinar is an online presentation which usually contains powerpoint or slide content combined with screen share for product demos or pre-recorded video content. Audio is usually presented live via phone or VOIP. All presenters are remote and present from their office, home or hotel room! Simple, cost-effective online events.

Webcasts

A webcast is prestigious event with live video from a physical location. These events usually incorporate multiple presenters discussing one or multiple topics interspersed with pre-recorded videos and content. The end result – something not unlike a traditional TV programme. Webcasts can extend the reach of your physical event to global audiences. They’re also great for executive internal communications where chief execs can address all global staff onscreen live. A very powerful use case.
